What does a Hydrojelly Mask do?

A Hydrojelly Mask is a supercharged face mask, packed full of nutrients, antioxidants, electrolytes, and hydration boosters that can be customized to your skin’s unique needs. Once the mask is applied, it begins to gently solidify, creating a seal to maximize the absorption of the ingredients. It’s an incredible way to achieve supple, hydrated, and healthy skin while you relax in our tranquil spa environment!

Is LED light good for your face?

Yes! While we’re used to thinking of light as something that creates wrinkles and hyperpigmentation, it’s specifically UV light that leads to this kind of damage. LED light therapy uses different wavelengths to reverse the damage that the sun and the years have caused. We typically use red light to target wrinkles and other signs of aging because it targets and stimulates fibroblasts: structures in the skin responsible for producing collagen.

How should I prepare before a facial?

In general, we recommend that our clients avoid exfoliating for at least 1 week prior to their appointment. It’s also best to avoid too much sun exposure, so make sure to wear at least 30 SPF sunscreen whenever you’re outside (a habit that will also help prevent further signs of aging!).
